Robbery training
Where there is a cash register with cash, a robbery must be expected. A delicate subject, which can lead to misconduct with fatal consequences in the event of an incident. That's why robbery training for reception and checkout staff as well as store employees is very important.
What are the benefits of assault training?
SBIS sensitizes entire departments or individual employees to the correct behavior in the event of an assault. Your benefits of the robbery training are:
- The course takes place on your own premises outside opening hours, if possible. Thus, the emergency can be practiced in a familiar environment and your journey is omitted.
- The training is adapted to the needs and special circumstances of the customer. If possible, the exercise will include alarm activation.
- In the realistic exercise scenarios, the course participants experience various events and recognize the correct behavior.
- The course participants can see for themselves that self-protection is not so difficult. The trainers lead the participants slowly to the topic and strengthen awareness of proper behavior in such a situation.
- Course participants can thus recognize and prevent robbery situations earlier.
Who should attend?
- Participants: Reception and cashier staff as well as store employees, safety officers (safety officers)
- Number of participants: Recommendation 5-15 participants per course
- Duration: approx. 2 hours (outside opening hours)
What is shown?
Various interactive scenarios are played out 1:1. In between, these are discussed and the optimal behavior is worked out together with the participants.
Recommended scenarios:
- Unhappy customer (entry / sensitization)
- Dealing with drunk / renitent / aggressive person
- Medical emergency (heart attack, asthma, etc.)
- Armed robbery with firearm / knife
- Optional: theft

- Recognize opportunities and dangers in conflict and extreme situations
- Know how to positively influence the situation
- Recognize the importance of acting correctly for self-protection
- Recognize your own possibilities and limits.
